The result should be something like this:
Remove the ' at the beginning of the line and change the path to the full path of the FNIS Outut mod, click Save, and click Close. You should see FNIS.ini listed here so select it and find this line: Double click the FNIS mod again and go to the INI Files tab.
Double click the FNIS mod, go to the Filetree tab, rename FNIS.ini0 to FNIS.ini, and click Close. Name this mod something like FNIS_Output and make sure it's unchecked - this FNIS_Output mod must not be active (checked) when you run GenerateFNISForUsers.
When you install FNIS in Mod Organizer, right click on Overwrite and select All Mods / Create Empty Mod. Mod Organizer must not be installed in the Steam or game folder or you may run into a folder recursion issue with UVFS. I am getting all mixed up.I don't know how you have Mod Organizer and FNIS configured, so these are general recommendations/requirements. Did I not link you my load order post? I was sure that I did. So, cleaning mods may require a bit of detective work.Ībout LOOT. Sadly, mod authors do not always understand to comment their mods, so that LOOT could need which edits are useless and actually required. The problem here is that most modern mod authors are aware of them, so often those edits are needed. I do not recommend cleaning mods, unless mod authors or forum regulars especially recommend doing so. if that doesn't solve it it's definitely done for today and i will most likely try everything i and/or we can come up with (with we i mean everybody that is willing to help).Īnd, not to forget, thanks to everyone for the help until now ) if it is a problem with 'dirty' file's (a couple of installed mods were listed as this in LOOT) i will try installing and cleaning them using TES5Edit. if it is a loadorder problem it is now fixed. Originally posted by Ruftinator E30:ok, so i went around and went looking for LOOT, which i have never used until now. I also visited the mod page for FNIS and found out that the mod author for FNIS has dropped support for MO and actually reccomends me using NMM and as said earlier, i would rather not.ĭoes someone either know a (better) way of using/installing FNIS or have a solution? it would be really appreciatedĪlso, even the animations that come with FNIS make my character T-pose.
i have tried so much! i tried running FNIS outside of MO, which did f*ck all, and i tried an older version of FNIS (6.2 instead of 6.3).the last thing that i have yet to try is NMM to see if that works, but it would be really annoying to constantly use NMM to install FNIS instead of using MO for this. if it may help anyone figure this out, some animation mods had a V?.? behind the mod name and i'm using the XPMSE skeleton. all added animations would not work, only vanilla animations would work (running, jumping, swinging a weapon, etc.). when trying them they would not work, my character would just stand there in a T-pose. i did the normal steps: i enabled the mods that needed FNIS in MO, ran FNIS and updated the FNIS Behavior (with GENDER and SKELETON patches), installed the file's from the Overwrite folder in MO, enabled them and tried them. I recently installed a couple of mods that use FNIS (because some are not appropriate i shall not list them here, more info below).
